Haradinaj: The KLA soldiers will suffer from speciality, but we will triumph

Although it has not been made clear whether so far the guests have been summoned to the quality of suspects or witnesses, most of them have claimed they would respond to the tribunal's invitation, even hired lawyers.

But a mechanism representing former KLA soldiers does not rule out the possibility that the invitation for presentation at The Hague will take all those who were part of this force, without exception.

KLA's OVL deputy leader, Nasim Haradinaj, has told Online Economy that each member of the KLA may be invited to the Special Court, while adding that the establishment of this court is the goal of MPs to maintain their positions and secure other mandates.

Haradinaj has added that special creation has been addressed only to KLA members and not to other actsmen who have participated in the war. He has called the establishment of this court racist, while repeating he is certain of its failure.

I think it's possible to invite every member of the KLA, because its title says KLA. What I'm seeing so far, I'm saying, not without purpose they're doing this. He has expressed optimism about the KLA members' triumph by this tribunal, while he has said they have not needed support from the government, if they would pay for the special establishment with approval.

The government has argued it will give support and have voted and approved. Haradinaj has indicated that he will continue to react within the rules and opportunities they have, causing no consequences in the country.

The Specialised Chambers and the Specialised Prosecutor's Office are in charge of investigating crimes against humanity, war crimes and other criminal acts in connection with charges from the Council of Europe's 2011 report.

The report has said that crimes were committed by KLA members during 1998 through 2000.
