The United States of America wants to organise a model of the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia as the one signed between Israel and Egypt in 1978, says Serbian chief diplomat Ivica Dacic.

The peace agreement between Egypt and Israel was signed 16 months after Egyptian President Annaar Sadat's visit to Israel in 1977 following intensive negotiations.
The main characteristics of the treaty were mutual recognition, the interruption of the war situation that had existed since the 1948 Arab-Israelic War, normalisation of relations, and Israel's full withdrawal of its armed forces and civilians from the Sinai Peninsula Israel captured during the Six Days War in 1967.
Egypt agreed to leave the demilitarized area. The agreement also envisioned the Israeli ships' free passage through the Suez Canal and recognition of Tirana's Strait and Ahab's trial as an international waterway.
