Throughout the country, high-ranking female candidates have won record numbers, writes The Guardian, followed by Periscope in Albanian. They took power mainly from the women's resistant movement against Donald Trump's election two years ago, but it is reportedly there have been many victories of women even among the republics.
This morning it became known that 92 women had been selected to the House of Representatives, numbering 435, past their previous record of 82. In the Senate, 10 women have been selected to reach 23 out of 100 in total.
