Since the 10 per cent customs duty application for goods imported from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo Customs has managed to raise about 300 thousand euros more.
This data lets Kosovo Customs officials free Europe know about Radio.
The Kosovo government a week ago has made the decision to impose a 10 per cent customs duty on all imports of origin from Serbia and Bosnia. Exceptions from this measure make products of international interiors produced in these two countries, reports the REL.
Kosovo Customs Director Bahri Berisha told Free Europe Radio that there has been a 50 per cent decline in import from the two countries Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“radim was made a week before the decision and a week after the decision. And this shows that a week before the decision we had about 7m euros in products imported from these two countries, Serbia and Bosnia, and in the next six days, following the decision's entry, we had 3.5m euros of imports from both countries. As far as the 10 per cent protective tax we have collected 300 thousand euros”, Berisha points out.
However, he adds, more precise data about the fluctuation of imports from these two states will follow a three-week period.
