Serbia's Defence Minister, Alexander Volin, appears to have seriously experienced the treatment he received to his president, Alexander Vuciq, during the ceremony, which was held days earlier in Paris for the honour of Peace Day and the end of World War I.
Vulin has said Serbia has not been humiliated, but only offended by the way the French protocol had treated Vucinqi
Serbia has not been humiliated, but has been offended by the position which was assigned to President Vuciq at this ceremony”, the Vulin told Tv Pink.
He has also spoken of the treatment taken to the president of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, saying he cannot be compared to Vuciqi, as according to him the Serbian people had contributed to World War I.
French Ambassador to Belgrade has said that a mistake has been made in the protocol regarding this matter, and that is why he has apologised to Serbs.
