Over the years, however, his family has not always received due honors.
His son, Qamili, was even sentenced to Communists and died at a young age because of prison imprisonments.
He was one of Vlora's nine wise children, the so-called; the only father of the Nation who stayed in Albania, and who because of his submission to the communist midnationalists suffered the consequences of life.

Biography
Born in Istanbul on December 14, 1895, where he spent all his childhood until 1912, when his father, Ismail Kemal, finally left Turkey to declare Albania's independence.
The first lessons were received in Istanbul, then Liceun continued in Nice (France), where he finished the University of the Bouches du Rhúne Department.
Following Ismail Kemal's death (1919) returned to Vlora and was elected Federation Chairman «Atlandu» (Dega of Vlora).
In 1923 he settled in Tirana and was appointed secretary of rank III in the Foreign Ministry, while early in 1925 he was appointed the first secretary of that ministry.
During his stay in the post was honoured by the president of the French Republic by the highest order «Chavalier de la Légion daHonneur» (13 November 1926) and, two years later, in February 1928, with foreign ministry proposals, was decorated by Albanian Republic President Ahmet Zogu, with the title «Cavalier of the Order of Skenderbeut».
During his activity, the foreign ministry was briefly appointed chief correspondent in Thessaloniki and deputy. managing director of that ministry.
In August 1932 he was charged with being part of the «Secret Organization of Vlora», an anti-zogist conspiracy. Despite having no evidence of his participation in that organisation, he left Albania, along with his family, and with the help of his friend Justin Godart settled in France.
He returned home in 1939 and was appointed a member of the State Council. In October 1943, Vlora's deputy was elected to the Constitutional Assembly and continued as an MP until the end of World War II.
After the communist dictatorial regime came to power, refusing to accept co-operation with them, on December 10, 1946, he was arrested on charges of subx0m without permission and sentenced to two years' removal of freedom.
In prison he became ill with tuberculosis and died in Tirana shortly after his release from prison.
