Explains Government: 100 per cent tax does not affect distribution of Serbian newspapers in Kosovo

The constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, communities and their members guarantees access to information without any discrimination! Thus, like the country's Government, we expose the propaganda of Serbian authorities, of which several international organisations have also been influenced.

We are again clarifying that Kosovo's 100 percent tax, the right to defend its sovereignty, in any form affects the distribution of media and the right to information for no members of any community. Communists and their members have the right to create and use their media. Communities and their members have reserved numbers of frequencies for electronic media, with international law and standards. Laws in Kosovo have enabled members of communities to also be a leading part of many media-related institutions. In addition to the presence of a large number of Serbian media in the country, from June 2013 to Kosovo, the second channel of Kosovo Radio Television has started broadcasting in which 85 % of the programme is in Serbian language, 15 %s in the languages of other minorities. The right to the media is guaranteed only with the Constitution, as well as with specific laws: The 03L law -- 047 for the Protection and Promoting of the Rights of Community and Members of the Republic of Kosovo, which contains provisions designed for ensuring media freedom for members of minority communities. Pressures from Serbia's authorities and lies serve neither the right nor the integration process. We will do everything to preserve all constitutional and legal rights for all citizens of the Republic, particularly for the Serb community in Kosovo.
