A court in Skopje has frozen Macedonian opposition party property, V MRO- The DPMNE, which includes 69 nationalist party objects.
The decision was made following a request by Macedonia's Special Prosecutor, under which such a move is made in order to avoid the possibility of selling or renting these items during investigations, tch broadcasts.
The Special Prosecutor's investigations are directed against 14 people, including former Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski himself. His party ruled the country from 2006 to 2017.
The prosecution has accused the suspects that during this period of time they have conducted illegal shopping for party financing worth 4.9m euros. Gruevski has already been convicted of another two-year prison case, but has sent him to the Criminal Court.
