Burdushi in court: Tuesdays and Fridays don't bother me

The founding prosecutor in Prizren has submitted today the request for the detention measure for Hysri Peqan, known as Burdushı, who, under the decision to start investigations, is suspected of four criminal acts.

At the hearing where the judge is Luan Berisha, Burdushi asked for some relief from the court in the event he was to appoint the move to the police station.

He said he respects the court's calls, but in a few specific days he's busy.

I support the words of my lawyers, I appreciate your work, I am always based on communicating and reviewing the laws of Kosovo. As for the measure of appearance at the police station, only on Tuesdays and Friday don't encourage me from working with parties, any other day I'm ready to appear”, Burdushi said.

In this session, prosecutor Fatos Ajvazi said that if the same [ Burdushi] is found in freedom, it can also affect the witnesses of the case; because he is called a popular doctor even though he does not possess relevant documentation and licenses, it can also repeat the same criminal acts.

Lawyer Asdren Hoxha flatly rejected the prosecution's request as unfounded and not sufficiently justified”, writes Kalxo. com

“A word for the client's persecution. It's been taken into account by institutions and society to be persecuted, and therefore request unreasonable detention”, the lawyer said.

Burdushi, according to the prosecutor, is suspected of illegal exercise of medical activity, fraud, avoidance of taxation and unauthorized possession of weapons.

Currently, the court's decision on the security measure of Burdush is expected.
