For years Albanians have been trying to escape by truck to Great Britain, which for many young people has already become like the American “> ”
But as they first chose to leave France, they have already found another way through Germany.
Thus, foreign media have written today that many young people are trying to move from the Germnay Cupage to Great Britain as illegal travelers without tickets through cargo trucks.
The media write that most of them are Albanians who pass even though security measures have increased through ports.
Six times a week, a freighter travels from Cujaven to Emmingham, England. Almost every time an illegal passenger tries to get on board without any entry documents. It's mostly about Albanians who came to Germany as tourists. Their purpose is a life in Great Britain, where part of their family has already stabilised.
Jörg Federal Police Restore in Hanover has shown:
It all started in 2015. Since then, Cupven has increasingly become a center for illegal travelers. Other ports of northern Germany have also been affected, though to a much smaller extent. In 2015, Federal Police registered 30 intruders in the area deemed safe at the port in Tsujven. This year, Federal Police counted 222 people by the end of August. They're looking for every opportunity to get on board. One of them is hiding in a truck that goes into the trunk. If they get caught they try again after a while. This because they cannot be charged with criminal legal consequences, only because they want to leave the country. They can be blamed but they don't fear. ”
Albanians take big risks that even endanger their lives. According to police spokesman Wolf Wundreck, there have been cases when Albanians have tried to cross the water border with air-filled mattresses.
Port operators in Cujaven have already stepped up their security measures: Armed fences have been repaired, increased security forces and video cameras installed. In addition, a working group has been formed along with representatives of the Federal Police, Landland and Water Protection. Thus, many illegal border crossings have been prevented.
However, if illegal travelers manage to board a ship, their journey usually ends at the port of Imamham.
