Jan Kozak has decided to resign, a day after his team was defeated in the challenge facing the Czech Republic.
He was Slovakia's coach for five years, and after his resignation he stepped down at a news conference and pointed out the reasons why he decided to leave, while he discovered a major scandal involving 7 of the team players.
“I took the decision to resign from the disappointment I suffered, when I learned that seven of the players had gone out to celebrate, in the evening after losing to the Czech Republic”, Kozak said. “Speaking for Martin Dubravka, Milchal Sul, Lubomir Satka, Norbert Gymber, Milan Scrinar, Stanisislav Lobotka and Vladimir Weiss”.
