Last April, in the semifinals of the Champions League, City's bus was attacked by Red fans for no reason.
Merseyside police have confirmed that they have taken extraordinary measures not to repeat that event, Periscope broadcasts.

Liverpool and City meet early Sunday at 17:30.
” We have prepared an operational plan for Sunday's match, to try to prevent those scenes from happening in”, one of the officers in the Liverpool region has confirmed.
City coach Pep Guardilla had declared that he did not understand why they were attacked before Liverpool apologized, saying they did not know who was hiding behind this event.
