In a statement by Istanbul's chief prosecutor, Irfan Fidan, it is said that talks with the Saudi prosecutor have not produced “concrete results” despite Turkey's good “willpower” to reveal the truth.
The prosecution's statement in Istanbul was the first public confirmation by Turkish officials that Khashoggi was killed when he entered the consulate on October 2nd to get the documents needed for his enthronement.
