Icard will continue his contract with Inter

The blackjack captain is expected to benefit a new contract from the club.

After six successive victories between the Championships and the Champions League, Inter is preparing for the hot part of the winter, where in only 20 days it will play full six difficult challenges, four of which in Serbia A and two against Barcelona for Champions.

But at the same time as the coach, club leaders follow up on work to plan the next metre, while the renovation of Mauro Icard is a matter that is taking a lot of time from the Sports Director Piero Ausio.

The latter stated that renovation with the captain may take a few days, but perhaps even a few months, acknowledging that the parties are as close as they are to extending the partnership contract between them.

“As far as the club is concerned, there is a desire to improve the Icard contract, and so is he willing to continue co-operation”, Ausio said of Sky Sports Italy.

“Icard has another three years of contract with Inter, and the likelihood is that it will continue in the coming days or months, and there is no problem with this” thing.

Italian media report that the deal on the new black captain's salary has already been reached, while the issue that separates the parties, is exactly the clause's case for the contract's collapse, with the zkalter seeking to remove it, or to increase it significantly and with Icardin demanding the involvement of some 130m euros in compensation.
