The Romans have been defeated by 0.2 from Spal, at Olympia.
The goal from Bentagna's penalty and Bonifazi gave the guest club three golden points, climbing to 13th place with 12 points.
Di Francesco's team tried hard to match the outcome, but efforts were futile in the face of the Spal steel protection.
