Barcelona star could be sentenced to 12 years in prison

Justice organs in Turkey have opened investigative procedure on Turkish football player Arda Turan after an incident with the singer, Berkey Sahin.

Under Turkey's law on these charges, Turan can go to prison for 12 and a half years for the incident created, Periscopi follows.

Turan, a Barcelona football player loaned to Basaxehir, has been involved in a physical confrontation with the Turkish singer, while he has been found without police permission.

The offensive midfielder appeared in the police four days ago after breaking the singer's nose in question at a nightclub in Istanbul.

Turan is also being accused of going to the hospital, where Berkey was being treated, while he also had a gun.

After the interview, Turan was released from the police until his weapon was confiscated.

In the event of his prison sentence, the Turkish Football Federation would also permanently suspend him. /Periscopi/
