Police say car that was burned after Ivanovic's assassination originated in Serbia

The burned car, found Tuesday after Oliver Ivanovic's assassination in Mitrovica, originated from Serbia, Kosovo Police Deputy Regional Director in Northern Mitrovica Besim Hoti has said. Also, this car, has the chain of owners in Serbia, he has said. These information, the Kosovo Police, according to him, has provided them through [...]
These information, the Kosovo Police, according to him, has provided them through international organisations, from which they have sought help for investigations into the case.
However, it has not yet been proven whether this car is directly linked to Ivanovic, but it is one of the investigative tracks.
“Are currently looking into the collected facts, such as video hygienes as and statements from several witnesses”, Hoti said.
According to him, investigations into the Ivanovic case are under way with full intensity on the part of the investigative processing group operating under the supervision of the state prosecutor.
“The investigative processing group consists of investigative police officers and central and local-level experts. When I say local level, I think of the North Regional Police Directorate and a team of investigative policemen from Pristina. All work takes place in close co-operation with EULEX representatives”, Hoti told REL.
An active role in the investigative process, Belgrade has also sought through Serbia's state bodies. According to Kosovo Government Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia has requested exchange of information about the ongoing investigation into Oliver Ivanovic's murder.
Tahiri said that the Government of Kosovo and competent organs involved in this case express willingness and will for co-operation and sharing information for the whiteening of the case.
But, he has underlined, the investigation process will be carried out by Kosovo's bodies, not allowing this process to develop another state.
To allay possible doubts, Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has left open the possibility of being invited for investigation even a third party, but not from Serbia.
Halil Matoshi from Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's cabinet said that “to remove the dilemmas, Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has eventually invited the FBI to be part of the” investigations.
