New plan, civil police near lights across Pristina (Video)

35 traffic tickets are marked today, under a new operation by the Regional Road Communications Unit in Pristina for drivers who do not respect traffic rules at traffic lights.

Police Lieutenant Qamil Behram indicated that to discipline drivers, police have already hired civil police officers who tend to places where they are stationed in Pristina.

“We are spread to many traffic points, civil cops with cameras record and we will have visible evidence against those drivers who do not respect red light”, he said.

There is no shortage of measures against those not expected until green light is lit to continue the road.

“Sic is currently seeing Kosovo Police, the Traffic Unit, is taking legal measures against drivers who do not respect traffic rules more readily, Behrami said.

Behrami said this plan will continue throughout the month, while stressing that they are obliged to take measures against those who do not respect traffic regulations.
