The metallural plant “Trepca” is the company, which has mostly accumulated debts, since the total debt totals over 23m euros.
KPM Chairman Ramiz Krasniqi has said that collecting this debt dates back to 2005, when this authority was created. Unable to collect taxes, according to him, dozens of companies are on trial with the KPM.
Of the total debt of 11m and 500 thousand euros are from private companies, which have avoided obligations. According to Krasniqi, in addition to tax evasion, these companies do not even own licenses for explosion. He has not told the names of these companies, but has said the same have not been issued license.
