Free movement within 90 days had promised Ramush Haradinaj at the time of the election campaign, and another 90 days had mentioned after the prime minister's election.
But citizens continue to remain isolated until state leaders have this problem, KTV reports.
Besides being equipped with Kosovo diplomatic passports, almost each of them has another reserve passport -- Albania's.
The last to receive the Albanian passport was Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, but said he would only retain it in honour and will not exploit it.
But politicians, civil society representatives and journalists criticise the prime minister's move, saying it is the worst message the head of government has given Kosovo's isolated citizens.
The former head of Gjakova, who is deputy of the Alternative in the Kosovo Assembly, Mimoza Kusari Lila, says Prime Minister Haradinaj sees his position only on the basis of privileges, not responsibilities towards citizens.
But Kusari Lila says civic pressure on the government should be increased until she expects the opposition to consolidate and demand a no-confidence motion against the government.
Artan Demhay from the organisation “Arise” says those blocking liberalisation have made the solution for free movement for themselves.
Meanwhile, <x0 planor-Koha Ditore” journalist Besnik Krasniqi says the prime minister deceived citizens that within 90 days they will move freely, but, according to him, citizens have become immune to any negative development in the country and no reaction, and therefore that government arrogance.
The prime minister has not hesitated Friday to promise that a big deal is being done on the issue of liberalisation, but that he and his party oppose demarcation, one of the criteria without which Kosovo cannot move forward in the process.
