According to the Spanish medium Mundo Deportivo, both clubs can meet “in the coming hours” in Brazil with Barcelona's representative for South America, Andre Cury.
The paper explains that personal conditions have already been achieved and there is reconciliation between the parties and that only a transfer fee will have to be negotiated.
Barca hopes to buy 22-year-old for 25m euros, but Mundo Deportivo warns that it may not be enough.
So it is possible that Arthur will spend the rest of the season with the winners of Copa Libertydores or be borrowed by the end of the season.
The latter is especially possible, since the Catalans already have three extra-communist players in their books: with Yerry Mina, Philip Coutinho and Paulinho.
However, the Spanish newspaper is convinced that Barca has defeated Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester Unitedin and Chelsea for signing the young Brazilian star.
