In a proposal for <x0... Better Dead Than Belgrade
Federica Lo Toro confirmed the other day and with a truly shocking calm, that if things aren't going well, he remains determined to end. I've been told that in Serbia it's not going anywhere, I'd rather leave this world than go there. We're trying to motivate him, but it's too hard for him.
His physical-psychic state after three months in Dubrvonik prison cell is heavily charged.
Federica Lo Toro: Ismaile has fallen many of the weights, and there are also severe visual problems, perhaps because of the long time that lies in the darkness in the prison room, yet compared with the last, it is slightly better, the psychological situation continues to be heavy.
Morina's wife, Federica, who has closely followed the case, said that following Croatia's decision to extradite and top court, hopes are based solely on political asylum, a decision that belongs to the interior ministry.
Federica Lo Toro: We will send the case to the Constitutional Court so that we may then have the right to send it to Strasbourg, but we really do not have hope in the Constitutional Court.
Our hopes are based on the interior minister, who has the competence to grant Ismaili to political asylum. There was a preliminary interview with Ismaili. Now we expect authorities to hold the main interview and we hope that in January the right to political asylum.
While in terms of the obstacle I can make to Ismaili's extradition the justice minister, we are not confident, as Croatia is seeking to maintain a totally neutral stance.
The Federica, who is the mother of two Ismaili children and is awaiting a third child, also stressed that they have not been aware of the arrest order, even controlling via Interpol until a year after the event, as the order was issued by the Serbian prosecution in October 2016, about two years after the Serbia-Albania match.
Regarding the support of Albanian authorities, she indicated there have been concrete movements, but it is a very sensitive issue, so she adds that she understands Albania's difficulty in this case. /Time News/
