The Regional Development Ministry is also involved in the Government programme. But the mandate for the formation of the Kosovo government, Ramush Haradinaj, when he presented the names of the governing cabinet, did not mention this minister.
In its exhibition before MPs, the September 9th session, Haradinaj had said that “Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development” would be Nenad Rikalo, meanwhile “Minister of Rural Development Rasim Demiri”.
The paper has requested clarification from the prime minister's office on this account, but their response has been missing. However, under the government programme, there will be no Minister of Rural Development, but one of two new ministries will be called the Regional Development Ministry. The other is the Ministry of innovation and entrepreneurship.
