The country's Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said today that Kosovo has stalled in terms of gender equality, despite the recent years there has been little progress in this regard. That statement, Haradinaj made during the table where the Gender Equality Law Commentary was launched
“The importance of gender equality will be a long challenge for us. Some encouraging developments have occurred, but we know we are still stuck like Kosovo. The reasons why we get stuck are many, some of them are in our capacity to treat them so that they don't get stuck. Based on legal norms, express my willingness to support the female in gender equality, the female's right on all of those topics that matter”, the prime minister has said.
Haradinaj said he expresses regret that there are few women in his government, but as he has said, it will not prevent him.
