Documentary film screening in front of U member states ambassadors NESCO, with insulting content for Kosovo, under the controversial campaign to membership in this key international organisation, is ongoing efforts to denigrate the state of Kosovo.
The presentation of cultural heritage in Kosovo as part of Serbia's heritage is intended to absorb Kosovo's cultural and religious assets and transform it. Religious and cultural artefacts in Kosovo are part of the country's heritage and cannot be replaced. They belong to the state of Kosovo, its citizens indiscriminately, are preserved and protected by Kosovo's laws and Constitution. For Kosovo's wealth, citizens and its institutions respond.
Kosovo's efforts to be part of international organisations including U NESTO is legitimate and the state of Kosovo will continue to meet its demands, in accordance with international legitimacy accepted by more than 110 countries of the world and in line with the International Court of Justice's decision on the legitimacy of the declaration of independence.
The obstacles to Kosovo's road to international accession and membership in international bodies, which continue to be made by Serbia, are contrary to the principles of good neighbourly policies, incompatible with the process of normalising relations within the dialogue that is eased by the EU and against the process of reconciliation of people after a period of serious history.
