Meanwhile, according to Oncology Institute officials, within a year in Kosovo they are affected with different types of cancer, about 800 people.
Ekrem Hyseni, director of the Oncology Institute at the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo, tells Radio Free Europe that this situation does not present a real increase in the number of breast cancer victims, but the awareness of women for early diagnosis has influenced the number of patients, as many cases in the past have been discovered in later stages of the disease.
There's almost every year the number of cancer affects, but more is about that we have early detection and there's an increase in equipment efficiency, and then there's also sensibility and so on. So I don't think that's a worry about this increase”, says Hyseni.
As for drugs to treat breast cancer, he highlights, mainly there was good coverage during this period of the year.
We have stable supplies for breast cancer, but in the fourth quarter, there may be a shortage, since the Government is also in charge and this can affect. Although we have at times lacked herceptine, which is a drug used for breast cancer treatment”, Hyseni suggests.
However, research by the World Health Organization has already warned that with greater human care, cancer can even be prevented in many ways.

With thousands of women following up on our workers throughout Kosovo that we have maintained as form of consciousness. There have been medical experts who have legalized them by informing them of everything that has to do with breast cancer. I think we've been able to convey the message to every house through television promotions...”, says Latifi.
Contrary to research and global data presented by the National Cancer Board in Kosovo, there are reportedly 14 million new cases of cancer in the world, until it is predicted that by 2030 this number will increase to 21.7 million, field professionals have declared.
Meanwhile, as far as cancer deaths are concerned, there are currently 8.2 million cases a year, until the year 2030 says there will be up to 13 million deaths.
