Donald Trump said military solutions for North Korea are “closed and loaded”, escalating tensions over nuclear weapons between the two countries.
His last message comes after several days of harsh rhetoric from both countries.
Trump said: “The solutions in the military aspect are already fully established, locked and loaded if North Korea acts unattended. Hopefully Kim Jong Un will find another way!
The president has not specified whether military solutions were preventative or counter-active.
His statements drew immediate criticism from opponents, the Independent” reported, broadcast Periscopi.
Ben Rhodes, a former foreign policy adviser to Barack Obama, said: “This is not a video game, but are at risk of war with North Korea hundreds of thousands of lives”.
This rhetoric between the two countries arose about launching North Korean nuclear missile programmes, which test an interccircular ballistic missile (ICBM) on 28 July./Periscopi/
Military solutions are now really in the place,locked and played, Council North Korea at least. Hopefully Kim Jong Un will find another path!
