During the pause at his concert at Michigan's Auburn Hills, Bruno Mars has surprised the public when he said he would donate a million dollars to help residents of Flint town who are exposed to the impact of lead on the drinking water.
The singer has stopped the show to publicize his charitable decision.
“I am very grateful to the public in Michigan to support me in this regard. The challenges Flint's inhabitants face last years, and it is important not to forget our brothers and sisters who have been hit by this disaster”.
As people, in particular as Americans, we have to be united and try to keep something like this from happening again, Mars declared.
Water problems in Flint City began in 2014 when more than 100,000 residents were exposed to high concentration of lead in the water.
