Yesterday Kosovo Ambassador Vlora Citaku met with President George W. Bush in Dallas, Texas.
According to the Kosovo Embassy's announcement in Washington, the meeting took place after Kosovo is approaching the tenth anniversary of Kosovo's independence, we should remember our most precious friends and allies.
President Bush was among the first presidents to recognise Kosovo, and we are honored to call it a friend. Kosovo is truly blessed to have had its support in our most determined hours. We were humbled by his warm hospitality and fruitful discussions”.
And besides the meeting Bush received a letter from Independence, the first girl born immediately after Kosovo's declaration of independence.
“We also make sure to pass a message from our president and Pavaresia, the first child born after Kosovo's declaration of independence. Her letter, along with pictures of George Bush's main road in Pristina, are very small signs of appreciation from Kosovo to Bush family”, the Kosovo Embassy's announcement in Washington said.
