With nine votes for Kosovo's Judiciary Council has elected Hasan Shala chairman of the Republic of Kosovo Court of Appeals.
However, other candidate Tonka Berishaaj has received two votes, while Devdet Abazi has received no votes.
The KDR took this decision at the 187th meeting held Wednesday, where the agenda was also the election of President of the Appeals Court of the Republic of Kosovo.
Shala will exercise this task by four-year term.
K The JCK on Wednesday has held for the second time the voting process for the election of the President of the Court of Appeals, after the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, on the basis of Tonka Berisha's complaint, has cancelled the KDR's decision on January 13th 2017, under which President of the Court of Appeals was elected Hasan Shala.
