This weekend will also feature a “Elvis Presley competition of Asia” and rock n Roll icon worshipers in this part of the world can't be happier than that.
23 participants from the Philippines, Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia joined the competition held simultaneously as a tribute to the legendary singer's 40th birthday.
Each in different costumes, the contestants took to the stage by performing their idol's famous songs, such as “Ive Lost You”, “You got me a Mountain” or “Jailhouse Rock”.
In the jury's judgment, the ability to imitate the great singer's charisma, as well as his appearance or typical movements.
The competition was won by filipinasis Jun Espinosa, who was rewarded with a free trip to Elvis's hometown of Graceland.
