Ukraine's president, Petro Poroshenko, issued a decree to withdraw Ukraine's citizenship for former Georgia President Mikhail Saakashvili, the migration service announced today.
Poroshenko Saakashvili had obtained Ukrainian citizenship and was assigned governor in Odessa, south of Ukraine, in May 2015. Tbilisi has demanded many times from Ukraine to extradite former Georgian President Saakashvili. Mikhail Saakashvili left Georgia in November 2013.
