The singer filed a lawsuit at the New York High Court for a temporary restraining order that would prevent the auction of the New York New York house <x)
In court documents, Madona claims that until she had read the press reports, she had not been aware that the items listed at the auction, including her former boyfriend's letter, Shakur was no longer in possession of her.
The artifacts were handed over to the auction house by Darlene Lutz, which Madona describes as a former companion and artistic consultant, which, says the artist, by taking away items without permission or knowledge, had brutally betrayed her faith.
A representative of the auction house and Lutz said in a statement that Madones' attempt to stop the sale was completely unbashed and unworthy and that they would challenge its claims in court.
In a letter written to Tupac Shakur in 1995 while he was serving a sentence for sexual assault, the rapper said that he had ended his history with her because he felt that his relationship with a white woman would endanger his career.
Meanwhile, on a note from the early 1990 ' s, the singer expressed concern that she did not have a musical career like Houston, or Stone. Not because I want to be like these women, because I'd rather die, but they're incredibly mediocre and they're being regarded as symbols of virtues”, Madona wrote.
Among the 20 objects the music star wants to remove from the auction are a pair of her panties, an old note book, a comb and personal photos. / TCH/
