Ivanovic charges Kosovo Police, says someone is willing to eliminate politically

Ivanovic has pressed fierce accusations against the police and other relevant security factors, saying he has no confidence in Kosovo police at all.

According to him, Kosovo police have failed to solve any single case of this nature until now, while having ruled out the possibility that the author or authors of this incident are Albanians.

Ivanovic said that if EULEX fails to light the case, then they will leave here, because it is a very expensive mission that is costing citizens of Europe.

I don't do any business, I don't do legal or anything more illegal. I don't have any personal enemies. I've come out of the process as a man who's earned a lot of friends, I've proven to have a lot of friends among Albanians... So we can only conclude from this that this act can be politically motivated. I have people with whom I don't think the same thoughts, as well as my attitudes I say publicly. Probably, not everyone can count on what I'm talking about... Two days ago Dragisa Milovic's car was burned and he will be our candidate in Zvecan. Therefore, I may conclude that it is about someone who wants to eliminate us from the political race, because elections have been warned by October 22nd”, Ivanov said.

Regarding his reports with representatives of the Serbian List, Ivanovic did not rule out the possibility that the latter might view him as an enemy, but that they did not, in any way, in any circumstances.

He stressed it regrets that even after 18 years after the war, the security situation in the north is fragile and citizens do not feel secure.

I don't see Serbian List representatives as enemies, maybe they do, but I don't. We may disagree on some things, I'm not satisfied with the city's appearance, I would like the city to look much better and more adjusted. It'll be the number one security point, because what happened to me, as well as the respected doctor two days ago in Zvecan, can happen to anyone. So under such conditions we cannot raise our children. It would have to be chosen by the Kosovo Police, but I'm not sure they are professional enough, nor do they have the will to solve this incident. If Kosovo police don't solve this, then EULEX has to solve it, and if even this one doesn't solve it, then I have to go, because it's a very expensive mission that European citizens pay. If EULEX does not want to solve this, then KFOR should do such a job. I'm sorry to say that even after 17 years, our people here don't feel safe. The only answer in this is a harsh fight against such things, respectively. If in two or three square meters one can't secure a road or a vehicle, then what security can we talk about after 17 or 18 years from 1999... I can't find out, but I'm sure the author is not Albanian, because he's in the center of northern Mitrovica... I just ruled out such an option”, Ivanovic said.
