News of the KED workers' threats by citizens is being replaced by news of their deaths. Two of these have been registered within two years. The reasons are the same. Workers die on electric poles.
Since the privatisation of the power distribution network, which became KEDs, news of their workers has been numerous. Most of them have been over threats and beatings they experienced from citizens, most of them indebted to electricity.
Other news having to deal with KED workers includes their departures from work to the attempted murder of an ECDS worker in Pec, which had occurred in March this year.
But these news are being replaced with news about the deaths of KED workers, reports Inseder.
Just two years ago, the death of a KED worker in Gjakova was recorded. He was a former soldier. The KLA and had died on an electric pole after power contact.
He had died in Doblibare Village of the Gjakova municipality.
