Working in the State Police is as difficult, as beautiful. During the interview, 26-year-old also tells of the difficulties she faces while at work.
“Reactions are different, not all accept the punitive measure. Women in the police are stricter and men are not as sports in this case”,- she says about the reactions she receives from various drivers.
How long have you been working on the Road Police?
I've been part of the Road Police for almost two years since I finished the Order Academy until right now. I'm willing to do this work, and I want to continue for a long time.
2- What was the reason you made this profession?
Just the desire and passion that I had to become part of the State Police, especially part of the Road Police. I guess I made it first, I'm already where I wanted to be.
3- How's a working day for you? In what areas of Tirana do you find yourself the most?
When I'm on my first watch, my day begins at 5: 00 a.m. After I get ready, I have to go to the Road Police station at 0600. That's where we get all the data and service orders from our superiors to continue working at 6:30. As for the areas where I serve, I can say I find myself in all areas of the capital. But our service space changes from day to day. I'm often assigned to service on “Nation witnesses”, down the “Myslym SURVI” or even in the former Block. These are segments that I've spent more time in the ministry.
4- Is this occupation an obstacle to your family?
No, it's not an obstacle at all... I can even confidently say that my family has been the first to support me in this profession that I have chosen. This is because first women face difficulties when they receive such a task.
5- Have you ever had a time when you were in trouble at work?
The most difficult cases for me are accidents with serious consequences. At such times, you may even feel in trouble. Finding someone in critical condition for life, you will necessarily feel in trouble. You're going to have to give him the ambulance and take him to the nearest hospital and you're gonna have to get everything as good as possible. Then you have to do all the action at the scene to find out why it happened.
6- Is your personal life affected?
No, it doesn't affect any kind of... It has been my wish from the beginning, and when you choose a profession that you really love does not affect family and personal life.
7-work in the State Police has been named one of the most difficult professions. Do you regret choosing it?
It's one of the hardest jobs, but without forgetting it's one of the most exciting and dynamic jobs. As for the choice I made, I never repented. When the end of the day comes, and you've finished your ministry, it feels good on the one hand after you've served thousands of citizens in traffic, then putting away the enormous fatigue.
Eight-back field. What are citizens' reactions when setting fines or making prohibitions in case of rules?
Reactions are different, not all accept the punitive measure imposed by Road Police employee. Few cases agreeing to the punitive measure without making opposition.
9- When male leaders meet a female policeman, do they get more sports?
No, I don't. I think women in the police are stricter and men are not as sports in this case, so to speak, they have little “And women can say they take things sports when facing a female employee. Yet, not all of them, there are even cases of opposition.
10 What about violence or opposition?
No violence cases. And we've had opposition in many cases.
11- In the event of opposition, how do you act?
For example, in cases where management does not present tool documentation when asked by the police officer, it is accompanied by the commissioners and suspended from driving permission.
12- Have citizens recently become aware of the tightening of the Road Code, with the value of the fine increasing?
Of course they're aware. Their reactions are much different when the penalty values have been lower.
13- Do you get time for recreation, how do you spend the rest of the day after you leave the service shift?
