Secretary - General NATO Jens Stoletenberg said Monday that KFOR would continue to remain in Kosovo. There is no plan to step down, KFOR's role in Kosovo's security is important, the Alliance's Secretary General said.
Stoltenberg explained that the change of mission depends on the situation on the ground, Serbian media report, broadcast Indesksonline.
Our mission changes “depends on the situation on the ground. Right now, he's not on the agenda. We monitor the situation, and now it is such that the presence of necessary NATO forces”, Stoltenberg said at the press conference prior to the NATO Foreign Ministers' meeting.

Asked by Serbian journalists, commenting on Albanian politicians' stance that KFOR was an obstacle to the formation of Kosovo Army, Kosovo leader NATO said any change in terms of Kosovo security forces should be exclusively in line with the Kosovo Constitution.
The ministerial meeting starts in the afternoon and ends tomorrow. The focus will be on strengthening EU relations- NATO, North Korea, the fight against terrorism.
