According to the Kremlin's statement, the call was made at US request, and the two states agreed to continue bilateral contacts, reports “Sputnik International” Transmission Periscope. The sides spoke for the last time on November 21st to discuss the meeting between Russian President and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
In an email, White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders told “Reuters”: “President Trump spoke with Putin earlier today and a reading will be sent later tonight”
Responding to a journalist at a news conference Thursday, Putin said Trump has done several “serious achievements” while in office, such as market data. “Look at the markets, how they grew up,” Putin said, according to “Bloomberg”.
