Swiss Office for Co-operation in Kosovo Director Patrick Etienne said employing young people is a challenge to the country for further developments.
We're signing the deal today PPSE with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. PPSE promotes the private sector and employment is part of its efforts by the Swiss Embassy to support the private sector, development and employment in Kosovo with the focus of youth and women employment. We are also focused on a 7.2m-euro phase, while in general it has invested about 20 million for four years in employment and we hope to continue our co-operation with MTI”, he has said.
While, Trade and Industry Minister Bajram Hasani said it is the second phase of implementation of this project, as there has been a first phase.
“The purpose of this project is to empower small and medium-sized enterprises, meaning special focus gives youth employment, women's employment. Of course we pledged that this project, this signed agreement, this grant to life. This grant is for the next four years, until 2021, and we hope that even in the future, the Swiss government will support the MTI and the people of Kosovo, and in general,”, he said.
