Macedonian President: Albanian permission affects Macedonia's unity

In Macedonia's Parliament, the country's president, Djordje Ivanov, has spoken before deputies.

Ivanov again this time cited the “platform of Tirana”, which he said became a constitutional crisis.

The Albanian language law is violating the unitary character of the state”, Ivanov said, Koha.net reported.

I only gave it after written guarantees for the protection of the country's integrity. The long political crisis was reflected in the economy as well. In cases that we were the first in the region in terms of economics, we are now the last”, Ivanov said.

Ivanov also expressed concerns about the air pollution situation. He had criticism for the media, according to which until they reported developments on April 27th, they wrote false news, as Ivanov has wanted to declare a state of emergency.

Through these news reports, according to Ivanov, a major damage has been done to the state's image.

The fight against crime and corruption is necessary. On the other hand, our prisons are packed, as conditions there are miserable”, Ivanov said.

During Ivanov's speech, he also called for independence for the judiciary.
