Large deal between Russia and China, Serbia benefits

The leaders of Russia and China, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, jointly place a new economic and geopolitical map both in the world and in the Balkans, which will no longer be a hegemonic country for the United States of America.

The two states officially signed four giant projects within the Chinese Silk Road Plan ʹ construction of a mining base, the Amur River bridge, an economic corridor between two powers and the elimination of dollars in mutual investments.

The Jinping Initiative, which has already begun to apply to some elements, aims to suppress US influence in the world, but also in Europe and the Balkans, where analysts say Beijing and Moscow see Serbia as their most important ally.

The work is transforming Eurasia's economic geography, which is growing as a result of Russia's close co-operation with China. This idea is a contrast to what Washington has been working on since September 2001. The U.S. spent $5.6 billion on wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Pakistan, reports “Vestines”, Periscopi broadcast.

That the Chinese initiative is good for Beijing and Russia, says Russian analyst Ekatar Pomorchev, who emphasises that these two forces' projects are also important for Serbia.

Serbia will have economic benefits to join the project, but also a kind of political protection offered by China and Russia.

These two countries thus expand their influence in the region, which in the near future means the interruption of continued domination of the United States.

If Chinese and Russian investments increase, this will reduce the space for American investment, and the United States will not see them favorably. The West has already begun to have reservations for this project.

“We have seen reactions from the EU and America to Chinese and Russian investments in strengthening their influence in the Balkans. The Belgrade-Budapest railway is already under enhanced western control. Serbia, however, has no obligation to take into account someone else's interests, except for its”, Milivojevic says.

Project 1

Earlier this month, Russia announced that the world's largest producer of nicotine and Plato, <x0Norilsk Nickel” and one of the strongest when it comes to Platin and copper, began operations at the Bistrinsky base in the Zabakal region.

China is also involved in the project and it is interesting that only four years ago the copper and gold reserves at Bistrinsky base were elusive until Beijing was involved. The plan is implemented by “Norilsk Nickel” and “The Russian-owned Natural Resources Fund “and the “Chinese Mountain Fund”.

Project 2 ) Union of Chinese and Russian territories

Another example of the transformation of economic geography under the direction of Moscow and Beijing is the construction of a bridge over the Amur River (the Romanians call it Heilungang).

It will unite these two countries in the northernmost part of China in the Harbin region. It will connect the Chinese town of Heihe and Russian Blagojeschensk, where it will connect to the Trans-Siberian railways in Vladivostok. The project is implemented by the Russian-Chinese company “The Hilunjang” Bridge.

Project 3

In September, China, Russia and Mongolia agreed to co-operate closely in energy, mineral reserves, agro-cultural and in all other spheres in Vladivostok.

Afterwards, Beijing announced it would create a $15 billion fund for further regional co-operation with Russia, which is in line with the July agreement on creating a joint $10 billion investment fund.

The funds are planned investments in industrial development of the Heinan region ($500m), as well as investments at the former Tusino Airport in northwest Moscow (1.5 billion).

China was also given permission from Russia to perform RMB write-off services via the Chinese Bank ICBC.

This actually means that these two countries have completely avoided dollar risks in bilateral economic investments.

In addition, at the BRICS (Kina, Russia, Brazil, India and South Africa) summit, they agreed that mutual direct investments are counted on national coins, completely avoiding the American currency. /Periscopi/
