Prime Minister Haradinaj meets My Lord Dode Gjergji

The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, hosted the Kosovo Bishop's Archbishop, My Lord Dode Gjergji, with associates he talked to about current developments in the country.

Leaders of the Kosovo Albanian Catholic Church commended Prime Minister Haradinaj for the new ruling dynamic, expressing support for state institutions with prayer for a new spirit.

Prime Minister Haradinaj, on this occasion, announced Bishop Gjergji's Bill on Religious Freedoms, which has already passed to the first reading in the Kosovo Assembly, which will regulate the functioning of all religious communities in Kosovo.

“Co-existence, co-operation and tolerance among communities of all religious faiths in Kosovo is the value of tradition which must be valued”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said.

Meanwhile, My Lord Dode Gjergji, welcomed Prime Minister Haradinaj's commitment to proceeding with the Bill on Religious Freedoms, praising the harmony among the religious communities in Kosovo, which, according to him, has been cultivated and continues to be present in Kosovo society.

The bishop said that, Church trying to save itself even preserves Kosovo's image.
