Commander Fungo shows how long KFOR will stay in Kosovo

KFOR's “ness in Kosovo is not related to any specific time period. But it's based on conditions. And when certain conditions are met, then we can change the structure, mission and task KFOR will have here in Kosovo... The conditions are for Kosovo institutions to be able to provide as much security as possible. Security is currently divided into three levels. The first responders are Kosovo police, the second line is EULEX, and law-respect agencies and third responders are KFOR”, he said.
While saying Kosovo security situation is pretty good
Fungo also spoke of joint exercises with Kosovo police and KSF, who he said are of the same standard with their soldiers. He said KFOR, and during the last elections, has issued various assets to preserve a safe environment. While he said they have many challenges ahead and that KFOR constantly made efforts to address all challenges that will come in the future and that it will continue to remain here to provide a safe environment.
