Talks between Greece and Albania have continued during the afternoon on the island of Crete for resolving bilateral issues.

After they were received with songs and dances in Lasith, a location near the location where the talks are held, the name of which Mr. Kotzias is baptized with the emir “Europepa” two years ago, both ministers have returned to the talks, writes Top Channel.

Perhaps to highlight this very aspect, Mr. Kotzias said that, “we are continuing discussions on Albania's European integration”.

Saturday's afternoon talks have focused on the problems of the Greek minority living in Albania, as well as on pending points in agreements the parties have agreement on or access to.

What is already completed, according to Top Channel sources, is the Sea Agreement. The Greek side has acknowledged that with the 2009 agreement, Albania loses sovereignty in territory so that it has agreed to have a new division.

That is why there will be new references on the ground, from which Albania will not lose a square metre of land.

It seems that the case of the cemetery of Greek soldiers' fallen in World War II will join the list of closed cases between the two countries. The Greek side insisted it was a human issue, so it should be addressed as such.

The consular issues have also been agreed on and remain to complete the formula for how this issue will be ignored in practice.

For the war law, the parties have also brought with them international expertise, while the Greek side has investigated with the presidency the legal way to abolish the law in question.

On this subject, there is a review of the Greek presidency, which has estimated that lifting the law could link the new friendship treaty, which will be formulated in the coming months.
