The known rapper arrested under suspicion of rape

TMZ reports that the victim who claimed to rape Nelly said they both met in a club in Washington state on Friday evening and later returned to his tour bus, where he forced her to have sex without a condom.

The woman says she said no. She also reports that after the incident, the rapper offered her money, which she declined.

Nelly wrote a statement right after he was released from prison on Saturday, saying: “Let me tell you that I am shocked that I was targeted at a false claim, I am completely innocent, I am convinced that once the facts are looked at, it will be very clear that I am a victim of a completely false statement”

Nelly was allegedly arrested for violating a woman during the tournament. The 42-year-old rapper, whose real name is Cornell Haynes, Jr., was arrested under suspicion of rape in Washington's state on Saturday but was released from custody.
