Google restores mobile communication in Puerto Rico through balloons

After being struck by Hurricane Maria, Puerto Rico has faced difficulties in restoring communications services. 83% of the antennas are not functional, while mobile phone companies have implemented temporary antennas.
The research engine giant, which first introduced Project Loon in 2013 to provide internet access through balloons, said mobile operators in this country could provide limited services through Google balloons.
Elon Mousk has also promised Puerto Rico batteries that will restore power that has been missing for several days thanks to the damage caused by the hurricane.
Musk had indicated that it would shift the production resources of Model 3 towards the production of batteries for Puerto Rico.
