In a statement for KALLXO. com Chief State Prosecutor Aleksander Lumezi has reacted to recent reports citing Prime Minister Haradinaj's call for a month-long term for completing investigations into veterans' lists.
“State Procuror is an independent institution which does its function impartially, without interference from any physical or judicial person”, Lumez said.
Commenting on the prime minister's deadline for completing the investigation, Chief Prosecutor Lumezi has ordered that no one can change legal terms.
“As far as the investigation deadline is determined with the KPP provisions and no one can change legal terms”, Lumez said.
