The court has found that the testimony of the injured and witnesses, including those read during the trial, has been consistent and interrelated with each other.
According to the decision, Derjan has been identified by the injured as responsible for committing acts of violence against victims during the time he acted in Syria and Iraq. The court has confirmed that these acts constitute serious violations of the Geneva Convention and international law.
