Metropolitan police have confirmed that the suspect was arrested in the early hours of this morning and is in custody.
It becomes known that the arrest is linked to three separate fires that occurred north of London during the past week: a fire at a private address in Kentish Town, a burnt vehicle and another fire at the entrance of another building.
