Iran has been openly pledging to retaliate against Trump for killing Qassem Solejmani, who was a senior general of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps during the president's first term.
It becomes known that the White House referred to the newspaper Wall Street Journal Comments the president made Wednesday.
Trump hinted of threats to his life when he spoke to reporters in Ankara, Turkey.
“They want to eliminate the US leader, me”, he said.

Relations between Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyah have deteriorated in recent weeks, while their interests were divided over the continuation of the war with Iran.
Netanyah has supported the continuation of attacks on Iran and the achievement of more war targets.
